Lawrence C. McCourt

Lawrence joined Lazarus Karp Ehrlich McCourt, LLP (formerly known as Lazarus Karp, LLP) in 2020. Lawrence C. McCourt was born in Rockville Centre and raised in Ronkonkoma, New York. A multi-year Dean’s List Scholar at Fordham University, he graduated with a dual Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and History in 1992. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York, School of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the New York State Bar the following year.

 

He has gained 24 years of real estate litigation experience representing owners and managing agents of NYC multi-family, multi-use properties appearing before NYC housing courts, civil, state, and federal trial courts, NYS appellate courts, federal bankruptcy court as well as various city and state administrative agencies.

 

Lawrence lives on Long Island with his wife, Cynthia, and their two children, Lawrence and Caitlyn. He is serving his second term as Recording Secretary of the St. Anthony’s High School Fathers’ Guild. His interests and hobbies include boating on the Great South Bay, catechesis, the study of Irish language and culture, marksmanship, and zymurgy.
